center David Robinson focus
on scoring, allowing his teammate
to win the scoring title.
This was the first time teammates
had ever won the scoring and
rebounding titles. The following
season was the best in franchise
history for the Spurs, thanks
to Rodman’s talent, with 62
wins. However, despite his
great game, his high publicity

controversial stunts that
have led media to write him
off as basketball’s “bad boy”.

of anti-drug campaigns for
youths and now attempts to
use his infamy to reach an
otherwise apathetic audience.
Dennis Rodman was not much
of an offensive player but
